Movie Overview

Vijay Harshvardhan Malik [Amitabh Bachchan] is the founder of a private news channel, India 24/7. A hardcore upholder of journalistic ethics, his channel is battling for survival. Jay [Sudeep], his son, looks at his father’s news channel purely as a business enterprise that must make profits to justify its existence. He hates that his competition [Mohnish Bahl] is doing better than him.
The story takes a turn when a corrupt politician, Mohan Pandey [Paresh Rawal], decides to use the channel to his advantage by using Vijay’s son-in-law Navin [Rajat Kapoor]. Pandey aspires to be the Prime Minister and indulges in a vicious campaign against his political opponent.

Black Cat tells the story of a man, black in complexion, hefty in size and with unusual physical prowess, known to everyone as Black. She succeeds in bringing Black to Moosad, who does certain treatments on him and states that even if Black is Ramesh, he cannot effect any kind of transformation in him. Things however, are not destined to end there. From here the story takes off.

Movie Overview

The story of ‘Dr Patient’, as the title itself suggests, is set against a mental hospital to which young and savvy Ruben Isaac (Jayasuriya) comes to work as a doctor. A doctor who had been successful with his patients at his Ooty sanatorium, he employs humanitarian considerations to emerge the favourite of “his patients”, whom he calls as his “clients”. Rakhi Devadas(Radha Varma) with a hospital management degree from U.S is the Managing director of this hospital. Her strict ways in dealing with patients often creates clashes with the new doctor. Ruben Isaac, meanwhile is brimming with new thoughts and unconventional ideas, which he implements in the hospital. He shows love and care and offers more freedom to the inmates which itself invites much criticism from the M.D. The movie turns more than funny with the arrival of another person (Mukesh), claiming that he is the original doctor.

Excellent direction by Siddique, the mesmerising screen presence of Mammootty and a good storyline presented in a well-knit manner makes Chronic Bachelor an enjoyable movie.
Life has not been smooth for SP, who lost his father when he was very young. His father Balagangadharan had in Neelakantan, a very bitter enemy. And Neelakantan had done all that he could do to make Balagangadharan's life intolerable. Anyhow, after Balagangadharan's death, Neelakantan turns to Sathyaprathapan and instills in his mind the notion that his father was not a good man. And pretending love, Neelakantan cleans away all of SP's property. Later only does SP realise the truth. He then starts life afresh with the help of Parameswaran, who makes him realise that his father is not what Neelakantan had made him out to be. And then SP works hard and becomes a successful businessman. Watch out for the whole story!!

Movie Overview

'Decent Parties' has as the central character Sudheendran, who is a photographer by profession and who runs a photo-studio named Padma Studio, named after his mother. In the meantime Sudheendran gets a chance in films as an assistant cameraman, with help from his friend Rafeeque, who is a production executive in films. In the meantime it's learnt that Sudheendran has a talent in script-writing. However, Sudheendran somehow gets into trouble, and with that things take a new turn. It's the dreams of this photographer-turned-assistant cameraman that forms the plot of 'Decent Parties'.

But this is one movie they would not have regretted acting in. The art direction, camera-work and costume design are excellent. A must watch, classic.

Released with a caption of the best political satire ever, Samastha Keralam PO gets off to a soaring start, and then finds its wings clipped all on a sudden. The flight back to earth isn't all pleasant, as the film frantically kicks about in mid-air for a while and then resignedly gives up. There's nothing much to be proclaimed about Jayaram , though Priyanka in a microscopic role that offers her literally nothing, excels.
